UKFast and Oliver Valves among National Business Awards winners

THREE regional business were celebrated at the National Business Awards in London last night.

Manchester data centre firm UKFast picked up Employer of the Year, while Knutsford-based Oliver Valves was named International Growth Business of the Year.

Deeside-based Comtek Network Systems, an IT and telecoms repair business, won the Future Champion award.

UKFast was praised for “truly understanding every dimension of great employee” and judges said Oliver Valves was the “epitome of high tech manufacturing and export”.

Comtek was applauded for covering 90% of network products and 40% of telecoms products on the market from manufacturers such as Cisco, Ericsson, Defalcate-Lucent and Nortel.
