HSS Hire hopes to clean up with TechServ deal
HSS HIRE, the supplier of tools, equipment and related services has acquired Premiere FCM, trading as TecServ, a provider of maintenance services for cleaning machines.
Terms of the acquisition from Premiere Products Group, were not disclosed. It is the fourth bolt-on deal since Exponent acquired the business in October 2012.
HSS employs more than 300 people at its operations in Manchester – with its headquarters and call centre in Urmston, a regional distribution base in Ancoats and an equipment refurbishment centre in Trafford Park.
HSS said the latest deal would accelerate its growth in the cleaning sector – which it operates under the Reintec brand.
TecServ has a successful track record in maintenance services in contract cleaning for local authorities, PFI sites and specialist food facilities throughout the UK as well as to major contract cleaning contractors.
