Last call for Anglo-US trade event

PLACES still remain at an important event this week to promote doing business in the US.

Celebrating the ‘special relationship’ between the UK and US on Thanksgiving Day, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership event takes place at Old Trafford stadium between 09.30-13.30.

The event is being organised in association with the British American Business Council North West and UK Trade & Investment.

It will feature a workshop on ‘How to do Business in the US’ and an opportunity to find out more about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement currently being negotiated between the European Union and the US.

Speakers include American lawyer Fred Reilly from Florida-based law firm Reilly International and Richard Northcote of UKTI.

A panel of speakers including senior executives from leading companies, MPs and trade advisers will outline more about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which aims at removing trade barriers in a wide range of economic sectors to make it easier to buy and sell goods and services between the EU and the US.
