Award and £15bn milestone for Quilter Cheviot

WEALTH management company Quliter Cheviot is celebrating winning an  industry award and breaking the £15bn barrier for its funds under management.

The firm, which employs 33 staff at its Liverpool and Manchester offices, was created earlier this year when Quilter and Cheviot Asset Management merged.

It was named  best overall large firm at the Citywire Wealth Manager Investment Performance Awards. Judges praised its consistent performance as well as commending the successful integration of the two separate businesses and cultures.

Quilter Cheviot chief executive Martin Baines said: “Everyone has worked extremely hard to make the merger of the two businesses a success. At the same time we have continued to deliver for our clients, and are delighted to celebrate this award as the value of our funds exceeds £15bn.”

Manchester office head David Rothburn added: “The award is industry recognition of the quality and consistency of our performance as a business and the manner in which we have brought two businesses together and continued to deliver outstanding service to our clients.”
