Property advisers back new cycle team
MANCHESTER property advisors GRM Property Consultants and Mark Beavan Associates are sponsoring a new cycle racing team.
Vision Racing has been launched in Nantwich by cycling enthusiast Ian Middleton and has an initial team of 10.
It also has the support of Delamere Dairy and Reaseheath College. The sponsors have helped with kit, equipment and training.
Mr Middleton said: “Having been involved with cycling clubs for many years I’ve seen the passion for the sport grow and grow and was keen to find a way to support and help individuals who want to compete and race in their chosen sport.
“When I started to make initial enquiries about setting up Vision Racing I realised there was very strong interest and it hasn’t been at all hard to establish a team.
“I’d like to thank all our sponsors without whom we wouldn’t have been able to make such a speedy and professional start and I’m sure I speak for everyone involved when I wish all members of the team every success for the future. We are all looking forward to working together and seeing how our first season progresses.”
The team will be competing in British Cycling and TLI road racing events, Manchester & District Time Trial Association (MDTTA) time trials, and British triathlon and Duathlon events from March.
