Eagle-i in £4.5m contract win

EAGLE-i has won a multi-million pound contract with HomeServe.

The Runcorn-based company, which develops vehicle positioning and fleet management technology, has been awarded the £4.5m contract to supply its monitor3 fleet management system over the next four years.

The technology will help HomeServe cut fuel consumption by at least 10% as well as reducing CO2 emissions of around 30,000 tonnes across its fleet.

Ian Walmsley, chief executive of Eagle-i Telematics, a subsidiary of the company, said: “This is clearly a very significant contract for Eagle-i and a valuable endorsement of the new monitor3 fleet management system.

“We now look forward to building on our existing working relationship to ensure HomeServe achieves its stretching operational, environmental and corporate-social responsibility objectives.”
