Ex-Aaron & Partners partner sets up new firm

A FORMER partner and head of intellectual property at Chester law firm Aaron & Partners has set up on his own.

Adam Kerr has launched Primas Law from offices at Cinnabar Court, Daresbury, and he is promising to give clients more value for money by charging by the job, rather than by the hour.

He said: “The way in which law firms provide their services to clients must change to reflect the modern commercial world. This means offering an expert, personable, flexible and cost-effective service. Providing clients with good value for their legal spend without compromising on quality is at the heart of our strategy.

“The main driver of for the firm is to shift emphasis away from charging clients based on how long it takes a lawyer to do a job and instead focussing on the value of the work to the client; thereby ensuring that the legal fees are proportionate to the scale of the issue and its importance to the client.”

Primas specialises in commercial and corporate issues, intellectual property and dispute resolution.
