Myhomemove promises 200 Manchester jobs

CONVEYANCING firm Myhomemove is to make Manchester its Northern headquarters with 200 staff.

The Leicester-based firm has agreed a 10-year lease on 20,000 sq ft at Linley House, off Portland Street which is owned by the water company United Utilities.

It has taken the fifth and sixth floors at £16/sq ft.

Head of finance Alison Gibbs said: “As our first Northern base it was important that the chosen location would allow us to attract and retain the right calibre of staff. The bus, rail and Metro link services make Manchester a very accessible city; an important factor for our business and the talented labour pool we have identified here.”

Trevor Hosking of United Utilities Property Services said: “Linley House is now 95% let and the remaining suite is under offer”

Edwards & Co advised the landlord while Lambert Smith Hampton acted for Myhomemove. TSG is the joint letting agent for the building.
