Bardsley wins £3.1m housing contract

BARDSLEY Construction is providing 35 new homes in Liverpool for social landlord, Cobalt Housing.

The £3.1m contract involves the design and construction of bungalows and two, three and four-bed houses and apartments in Regal Road and Sceptre Road, Croxteth.

Dukinfield-based Bardsley is due to complete the scheme in the summer.

Cobalt Housing, part of Symphony Housing Group, owns about 5,800 mainly family homes in the Fazakerley, Croxteth and Norris Green areas of the city.

Ged Rooney, procurement director at Bardsley Construction, said: “Bardsley has extensive experience in the provision of social housing and we’re genuinely pleased to be playing a part in the regeneration of Croxteth.

“This latest contract with Cobalt shows we continue to benefit from our reputation for work for the public sector with an emphasis on partnerships with clients including housing associations, local authorities, education bodies and health authorities.”
