Graham & Brown signs Moshi Monsters deal

LANCASHIRE wallpaper manufacturer Graham & Brown has agreed an exclusive licensing deal with the creators of the popular children’s franchise Moshi Monsters.

The family-owned, Blackburn-based company will produce a range of wallpaper and wall art featuring characters from the online game.

Since its launch in 2008, Moshi Monsters has expanded with the launch of new content and merchandise, including a TV programme, music, DS video games, books, a magazine, trading cards and a successful toy range.

Graham & Brown has worked with the brand to create a range of seven new products, including wallpaper, wall art, window stickers, wall stickers and interactive wall panel.

The range is being launched in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand and represents a strategic push by the firm to grow its presence in the children’s décor market.

Mark Radford, design and marketing director of Graham & Brown, said: “Children’s décor is one of the fastest-growing areas of home decoration, as more parents encourage their children to embrace their creativity.
“This new collaboration with Moshi Monsters shows our commitment to developing on-trend products for our customers with some of the world’s most powerful brands. We’re confident this will be a huge success.”

Darran Garnham, chief business development officer at Mind Candy, the company behind Moshi Monsters, added: “Graham & Brown’s global footprint and expertise in kids décor makes them the ideal partner for Moshi Monsters. We can’t wait to see the new range hit the shelves. It gives our fans another way to bring the world of Moshi Monsters to life.”

Graham & Brown’s products are sold through major DIY chains in the UK, North America and Europe, as well as over 200 Graham & Brown-branded distributor outlets in high-growth overseas markets.
