Peter Skelton joins WHR

PETER Skelton, a prominent figure in Manchester’s property community, has left Lambert Smith Hampton to join the office team at WHR.

Mr Skelton, spent most of his career at LSH where he led the Manchester office until becoming a part-time consultant in August.

At WHR he will be responsible for the firm’s four-strong office agency team and act as a development advisor.

The move follows the departure of WHR co-founder Mike Hawkins for Colliers’ office team in October.

WHR has also promoted four members of its team – John Barton, industrial agency; Nick Heathcote, professional; Josh Levy, office agency; and Alan Watson, project and building consultancy – have all been made associate partners.

Mr Skelton said: “I am delighted to be joining WHR; a firm which has proven that it has the commercial understanding and development base to retain its position as the region’s most respected independent consultancy.

“I am also looking forward to working again with colleagues with whom I spent many of my formative years. WHR has a strong reputation in the market with some of the most high profile instructions including The Towers Business Park and Manchester Airport and I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead.”

Mr Skelton will continue his role as a consultant for Nikal working on the Altair scheme.
