NRL Group’s turnover passes £40m mark

CUMBRIAN recruitment firm NRL Group has seen its turnover increase on a like-for-like basis by 5.6% £40m during the first six months of 2010.

The Cockermouth-based company, which specialises in trade and technical staff, had a turnover of £37.9m in the first six months of 2009.

Over the same period, the company had gross profits of £3.3m which were up by 1.82% from £3.3m last time.

Mike Barber, NRL Group’s managing director, said: “In what have continued to be uncertain trading conditions, the group has performed very well, showing an increase in sales and gross profits for a second consecutive year.

“We owe a big debt of thanks to our loyal staff who have worked exceptionally hard even when the overall climate has not been encouraging.

“Our ongoing success is a direct result of their dedication and determination.

“Thanks are also due to our clients for their continued trust in the top quality, reliable and cost-effective service we provide.”
