Richard Kenyon joins Everton

RICHARD Kenyon, managing director of Liverpool public relations firm Kenyon Fraser, has left to join Everton.

He has been hired as the club’s director of marketing and communications, replacing Alan Myers who left last month to join Blackburn Rovers.

Mr Kenyon, an Everton fan, previously worked with the club when Kenyon Fraser carried out a consultation with the fans about a redesign of the club crest.

He has also worked on a part-time basis as interim director of marketing.

He said: “I have had 10 fantastic years at Kenyon Fraser and it is a great business, but I have been passionate about my club for more than 30 years now, and to have the opportunity to work for the club and our fans is something I simply couldn’t turn down.”
