Recruitment firm rescued by Gap Personnel
A SMALL recruitment firm which sources temporary workers for the food production and engineering sectors, has been rescued from administration.
Forward Recruitment based in Buxton, has been acquired by large North Wales firm Gap Personnel Holdings for an undisclosed sum.
Forward, which had around 100 temporary staff on its books, ran into financial trouble after the loss of one of its largest customers.
The corporate recovery and insolvency division of Stockport-based accountants Bennett Verby was appointed to the company and led the subsequent sale.
Vincent Simmons, partner at Bennett Verby said: “The sale of Forward Recruitment, which provides temporary staff to the food packaging and engineering industries, was a good outcome as it resulted in no job losses and continuity of the business for all customers.”
