Property briefs: SES completes One St Peter’s Square; Green light for Eshton;

SHEPHERD Engineering Services (SES) has completed a £5.8m mechanical and electrical contract at One St Peter’s Square in Manchester.
The 270,000 sq ft block, partially pre-let to accountancy firm KPMG, is being built by Argent and the Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund.
SES prefabricated much of the work including the plant room, sprinkler pipework, boiler plant, pumps and other equipment.
North West regional director Rob Doherty said: “The secret to success was the co-ordination, communication and collaboration between the client, all contractors and our on-site operatives.”

PLANNING permission has been granted for a fourth speculative industrial unit at the £50m Burnley Bridge Business Park which being developed by Eshton at Junction 9 of the M65.
Block C of Magnesium Court adds 10,000 sq ft of floorspace to the current 29,000 sq ft of blocks A and B.
Jonathan Chapman, director of Eshton, said: “Since the Burnley Bridge Business Park scheme was first announced we have had high levels of interest from a wide range of potential occupiers.
“With the 64,100 sq ft Cobalt Building already under offer, we expect the go-ahead for further construction work to generate renewed
interest and new enquiries.”
