Businessman brings green landscaping product to UK market

A MANCHESTER businessman has signed a deal with a Canadian business to bring a new sustainable landscaping product to market.

Mike Bailey has set up a company called Ambrose Trading & Wholesale after penning a distribution partnership with Canadian firm Trexiana for its
Flex MSE product.

He believes the Flex MSE – a vegetated wall system – will shake-up the construction and landscaping sectors, in both residential and civic applications.

The system – used as an alternative to concreting sloped areas – claims to be greener, faster, cheaper and more durable than any other product on the market.

Mr Bailey, from Timperley said: “Having witnessed the Flex MSE system in action, there is nothing in the market place that can provide such an enhanced level of earth stabilisation and erosion control.

“At the same time it reduces the installers’ carbon footprint by as much as 97% and cuts operating costs by up to 60%.  In addition it lasts much longer too – with a lifespan of 120 years.”

Typical uses for the product would be for retaining walls, addressing slope erosion/sediment control and waterway and shoreline protection.
