Tiger Trailers takes 105,000 sq ft in Winsford

MANUFACTURER Tiger Trailers has signed a 10-year lease on a 105,059 sq ft shed at Winsford Industrial Estate in Cheshire.

The site, known as Maximus, is owned by AXA Real Estate Investment Management.

Tiger, set up by John and Steven Cartwright, will use the unit to manufacture and store truck trailers. They set up the business earlier this year after leaving family-owned Cartwright Trailers, based in Altrincham.

JLL secured the letting at 3.75/sq ft.

Richard Johnson, associate director, industrial and logistics, said: “As one of the last remaining high bay distribution sheds in the region, Maximus attracted a lot of recent interest. We had several serious parties looking at the unit with three offers on the table but Tiger Trailers’ decisive approach meant they completed the lease within a few weeks to secure it for themselves.”

Lamont and B8 Real Estate acted as joint agents. Legat Owen advised Tiger Trailers.
