Cassons accountants adopts new business structures

LANCASHIRE accountants and business advisers Cassons has hived-off its financial services team into a new business, and also become an LLP.

The firm, which has offices in Haslingden and Manchester, says the changes in its corporate structure will allow it to grow.

The financial services department has been incorporated into a new limited company, Cassons Financial Planning Ltd, which will continue to be led by partner Steven Greenwood.

Meanwhile, the eight partner firm has, since May 1, transferred  from a partnership to a limited liability partnership under the name Cassons business advisers LLP, chartered accountants & business advisers.

Managing partner Les Nutter said: “The changes will have a minimal practical impact on our clients as staff and day-to-day operations will be unchanged.

“But both elements of the restructuring will provide us with a much stronger, more dynamic and modern corporate structure through which Cassons can continue to grow and develop.”
