Leading lights of regeneration to attend IFB event

SOME of the key players in urban regeneration will be gathering in Liverpool for an exhibition and conference during the International Festival for Business 2014.
Speakers at Regen 2014, which is taking place in association with Liverpool Vision, include Sir Bob Kerslake, Secretary for the Department for Communities & Local Government and Head of the Civil Service, Keith Burge, chairman of the Institute of Economic Development and
Deborah McLaughlin, executive director of the Homes and Communities Agency.
The event takes place on the June 25 and 26 at The Rum Warehouse on Stanley Dock. It will be the first in a series of annual events and forums providing thought leadership in regeneration and economic development.
The conference will address the latest issues in urban regeneration policy and implementation. It will also examine the challenges that face towns and cities, in terms of economic development and neighbourhood renewal, and will bring delegates together with policy experts, real-life case studies and industry leaders.
