Lancs growth plan as Baker Tilly moves in to new home

ACCOUNTANTS Baker Tilly is entering a new era in Lancashire with the opening of its new Preston office today.
Nine Partners and around 200 staff will move in to the firm’s 20,000 sq ft office premises at Bluebell House, close to junction 31a of the M6.
The firm, which is bringing together staff from Chorley and Bolton to service Lancashire-based clients in the new premises, has ambitious plans to grow its business there.
North West managing partner Jill Jones, said: “Strategically, Preston is a great location in the centre of Lancashire which will allow us to continue to provide excellent service to our existing clients and offer local businesses a full service accountancy practice focused on SMEs which has true strength and depth.
“We see great potential for Lancashire and we plan to double the size of our current business in the region over the next three years. We expect to invest significantly in new talent from around the region so that we can further enhance our services to clients, helping them achieve their business goals as the UK economy picks up.”
The firm also has offices in Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington.
