Appointments: Brabners; Ward Hadaway & more

NORTH West law firm Brabners has strengthened its field expertise with the appointment of Charles Hansford as a partner.

Mr Hansford, a commercial property lawyer, specialises in agricultural law and has more than 15 years’ experience.

He joins from Cartmell Shepherd in Penrith, Cumbria. In his new role at Brabners Mr Hansford will provide strategic commercial and agricultural property advice to a variety of clients with a particular emphasis on landed estates.

Managing partner Mark Brandwood, said: “Charles’ expertise will enhance the strength and depth of the property advice we offer. His appointment reflects our commitment to continuing to grow our team and expand our offering to clients and he will be a valuable addition to the firm.”

Brabners has offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston.

WARD Hadaway has strengthened its Manchester corporate team with the hire of former Cobbetts and Linder Myers partners Paul Johnson and Sean Fitzgerald.

Mr Fitzgerald said: “The firm has really been making its presence felt in the North West market and has exciting plans to grow further.”

Paul Johnson, pictured, added: “We have already hit the ground running here, having Cobbetts, paul Johnsoncompleted the Neville Johnson transaction at the end of May. We have a number of other deals in the pipeline which we are looking to complete in the next few weeks.”

MOBILE apps developer Apadmi, has hired Jenny Bradshaw to the new role of relationship manager, in a bid to broaden its range of services to clients.

Miss Bradshaw joins the Manchester company having previously worked in a number of client-handling and digital roles for businesses including Blue Chip, Together Agency and the University of Nottingham.

Nick Black, sales director at Apadmi said, “We are establishing a client services function so we can get a deeper level of understanding into our clients’ businesses and future aspirations. Right now we do a great job of delivering projects but there is a lot of potential to look at how we can work more closely with clients to develop wider strategies and support their long term goals.”

NATIONAL developer and urban regeneration specialist, Muse Developments, has appointed Greg Ball as development surveyor to its North West team.

Mr Ball joins from Jones Lang LaSalle, and has more than 10 years’ experience of office agency and professional property related matters throughout the region, with particular focus on disposals, acquisitions and development.

MERSEYSIDE-based IFA Acumen Financial Partnership has appointed an experienced administrator to support its growing team of financial advisers.

Paula Molina joins the Maghull firm after more than 30 years in the financial services industry, primarily working for insurance companies.

MANCHESTER-based finance recruitment specialist, Sellick Partnership has added Austin Brislen to its practice division.

Previously working for Sagar Wright recruiting actuaries, Mr Brislen will team up with director Ray Wareing, who leads the firm’s permanent practice team.
