Lettings latest: Zeus moves to King St; WSP expands

CORPORATE finance adviser Zeus Capital has taken 4,000 sq ft at 82 Kings Street in Manchester.
It is one of a number of firms that has left Ralli Courts in Salford ahead of its demolition to make way for a new 125,000 sq ft office block which is being developed by the English Cities Fund.
The firm has agreed a lease on the 14th floor of the building which is managed by F&C REIT Asset Management.
Tremayne Ducker, head of private company and private equity at Zeus, said: “The new office space in the heart of Manchester’s financial district will support the continuing success of our business. We have made a strong start to the year and are looking forward to working with more ambitious management teams that are set for growth.”
There is still 30,000 sq ft available at the building. Joint letting agents are GVA, TSG and WHR Property Consultants.

BUILDING services group WSP has expanded its Manchester office, taking an extra 7,000 sq ft at Peel’s Victoria Building at MediaCityUK.
The firm has been involved in high profile projects including the Shard, Crossrail, New South Glasgow Hospital, the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham and the re-development of London Bridge station. It is on Transport for Greater Manchester’s consultancy framework.
Ian Shearer, director of management services at WSP, said: “As the economy picks up so too does the local market and we are experiencing growth across all our disciplines. We will be recruiting across the board and are increasing our office space in Manchester accordingly.”
