Alex Salmond to speak at IFB

THE future of the United Kingdom will become the focus of Liverpool’s International Festival for Business on Thursday when Alex Salmond will deliver a keynote address.

The first minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party will set out his vision for an independent Scotland and give his views on the future of business operating on both sides of the border.

He will also take part in an interview with Lionel Barber, editor of the Financial Times.

His appearance at the festival comes two months before Scottish voters take to the polls for a referendum on Independence.
