NTTX launches cloud computing service

A CHESHIRE rail engineering consultancy has launched a cloud computing business.
Congleton-based NTTX has secured working capital support from the Royal Bank of Scotland to launch NTTX Select.
The service has already been placed on Microsoft’s Cloud OS network and has been accepted onto the Government’s G-Cloud framework for the provision of cloud services to the public sector.
NTTX, which has taken on five extra staff for the venture, expects it to add revenues of £3m to its £5m-6m turnover.
Director Ian Dear said: “We are confident we are offering a valuable, secure and competitive service to our customers. We needed the reassurance a finance facility was in place to deal with the increase in business we are seeing and delighted Ryan at RBS could assist. So far the results are positive and we look forward to seeing our services expand into bigger companies and witness an uplift in our annual results.”
Ryan Cartwright, senior relationship manager at RBS, said: “NTTX are an innovative group of shareholders and share a vision to diversify into markets they feel confident to explore. I am pleased RBS could provide flexibility in their working capital requirements to allow them to achieve their business aspirations and expand their new venture.”
