North West Business Masters launched by TheBusinessDesk.com

THEBUSINESSDESK.COM is delighted to launch the North West Business Masters, a new event to celebrate outstanding talent, innovation and achievement across the region.

As well as rewarding company success, the awards will highlight all that is good about business in the North West, including the outstanding personalities who make the region’s economy thrive.

The North West Business Masters awards lunch will take place at The Point at Lancashire County Cricket Club on April 7 next year.

The North West event follows the resounding success of the Yorkshire Business Masters earlier this year.

Awards will be made across six categories:

  • North West Newcomer: Best new business initiative in the region
  • North West Grit: Overcoming adversity and making a real difference
  • North West Pride: Most meaningful philanthropic initiative by a business, organisation or leader
  • North West Innovator: Most creative or original business thinking
  • North West Ambassador: Greatest contribution to business in the North West
  • North West Adviser: The best professional adviser working in the region

Chris Barry, North West editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “We are extremely excited to be launching the North West Business Masters in response to many enquiries and requests from our community for a new awards concept.

“Our aim is not only to recognise the outstanding business talent in the region, but also to facilitate business by bringing together key achievers and allowing old colleagues, clients and new contacts to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere.

“The event will recognise the best in business whether large corporates or family businesses, entrepreneurs or professional advisers or those from the public sector. We are confident the North West Business Masters will be the premier awards event for the region’s business community and will celebrate the present and future of doing business in  the North West.”

Tickets for the North West Business Masters, which will be held from noon to 3.30pm, are available for £125 per ticket plus VAT, sold in pairs.

The event will start with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course lunch with fine wine. Nominations for all six categories are open from today, Monday September 20, and the deadline for entries is February 18.

An independent panel of respected business experts will filter the nominations and a shortlist for each award will be announced in March, with the final votes for each award being cast by the readers of TheBusinessDesk.com.
