Naked ambition: Julie Neville prepares for city centre launch

JULIE Neville,  the wife of retired Manchester United, Everton and England footballer Phil Neville,  is launching her health food business in  Manchester city centre.

To mark the launch on Saturday the mother-of-two from Hale has become the face, and body, for the adverts for WinNaturally, which is opening in the Arndale Centre, having been relocated from the Trafford Centre.

By stripping off for a photoshoot for the full-size promotional material, Mrs Neville aims to highlight that the products in her shop are completely organic and natural.

She explains: “Nowadays people are always looking for quick fixes; be it ready meals, weight loss, or recovering from an illness. They are too keen to put food and chemicals  into their body without thinking about the long-term consequences. The idea behind Project Naked (the photo shoot for the launch) was to highlight there are ways to be the way we want to be, but naturally, the way nature intended.”

The new store, which is located on the upper floor of Halle Square in the Arndale, is creating 13 jobs and features a free weight loss club. All staff members are trained nutritionists or health experts.

The Nevilles, now both strict vegetarians, launched WinNaturally after Mrs Neville suffered a serious health scare following the birth of their second child.

As well as offering a range of organic food and drink, vitamins and supplements, WinNaturally also supplies several Premier League and Championship clubs,  with sports nutrition products.

Enterprise is in her genes – Mrs Neville is the daugher of successful Rossendale businessman Bob Killelea, managing director of steel company James Killelea and Co.
