Williams back on track after Liverpool refurb

NORTH West motor sales group Williams has reopened its Liverpool BMW dealership after a £1.5m redevelopment and extension.

The transformation of the site on Great Howard Street has seen the showroom almost double in size from 7,180 sq ft to 13,692 sq ft, making it one of the largest BMW dealerships in the region.

The new dealership houses 16 BMW models, including a dedicated section for the all-electric BMW i3 and the recently- launched £100,000 BMW i8 sports car.

The showroom also features dedicated handover suites in addition to a hub with interactive displays where customers can build and view a new car and assess the used car stock in 3D high-definition.

David McGoldrick, dealer principal at Williams Liverpool, said: “We are  thrilled to have completed a major strategic investment in the creation of a state-of-the-art dealership to offer our customers a truly comprehensive range of BMW vehicles and an unrivalled shopping experience that makes buying a car as easy and enjoyable as possible.”

Construction of the dealership began in January 2014 and was undertaken by Bolton-based Seddon Construction. Architects were Taylor Design and Ridge Property and Construction acted as quantity surveyors.
