Simon Jersey to supply Team GB

ACCRINGTON uniform provider Simon Jersey has been chosen as an official supplier to Team GB for the Rio Olympics in 2016.

The company will supply suits, which will be worn at official events, and outfits for the closing parade.

In January Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross acquired the business after taking control of Kwintet UK from the Swedish parent company Kwintet Group.

Simon Jersey managing director James Saunders said: “We’re extremely excited to be a part of the Olympic journey for Team GB and as a British brand, we can’t wait to follow our home team on their path to success at the 2016 games. It’s an incredible opportunity for Simon Jersey, as a North West company, to be part of the world’s biggest sporting event and provide suits for our Olympic heroes.

“This is the first time a corporate wear supplier has been awarded the contract to supply formalwear or parade wear to Team GB, let alone both. Here at Simon Jersey we know how to make powerful impressions and have extensive experience in building strong teams through  quality designs. This means we’re well prepared to kit out such a diverse team, and we’re honoured to be announcing our partnership with such a prestigious organisation.”
