BA and John Lewis commit to Towers

BRITISH Airways and John Lewis have committed to around 100,000 sq ft of new and existing space at Towers Business Park in Didsbury.
British Airways has reviewed its lease, extending its commitment on 55,000 sq ft until 2021.
Meanwhile John Lewis has taken more space, expanding from 19,300 sq ft to 45,000 sq ft.
British Airways has about 400 staff at Towers working in its Executive Club Centre of Excellence, the Contact BA division and the BA Cityflyer head office,
BA property manager Steve Barnes said: “Towers has been a great business home for us since our move from Manchester city centre in 1999. The current improvement works have been well received and will further add to our office setting and facilities. We look forward to our continued business growth and success at Towers.”
Towers has 11 buildings totalling 350,000 sq ft. Other tenants include Oracle, Honeywell, CGI, Cisco, Roper Industries and SPX. It is owned by a joint venture between Property Alliance Group (PAG) and the Moorfield Group.
Agents on the scheme are CBRE, Edwards & Co and Colliers International. CBRE represented British Airways and John Lewis. Rents are around £21/sq ft.
