Plant Impact targets new markets with development deal

ORGANIC fertiliser group Plant Impact has signed an exclusive development and distribution deal with a Cyprus-based agricultural products supplier which operates in 50 countries.
The Preston-based firm said the deal with Agrimatco covered a range of its different crop nutrition products.
The agreement covers countries in the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and extends the company’s territorial coverage for these products by 40% to 72 countries.
Agrimatco will have exclusive rights to evaluate Plant Impact’s products until the end of 2011. After this period it will register the products locally and market and distribute them on an exclusive basis.
Plant Impact’s chief executive Peter Blezard, pictured, said: “We are delighted to announce this agreement which further demonstrates the potential of Plant Impact’s products in key territories. Agrimatco are and will continue to be a valued and influential partner to Plant Impact.”
