Recruiter sells 50% stake

LONDON recruitment firm SF Resourcing has bought a 50% stake in Macclesfield recruiter, the Matt Burton Group.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, has involved sole shareholders Matt and Anna Burton each selling 25% stakes.

The Burtons were advised by Gorvins Solicitors in Stockport and accountants Bennett Verby.

Mr Burton said: “Having entered the transaction with a great deal of apprehension and uncertainty, we came out the other end with almost polarised feeling of clarity and confidence.

“The Gorvins team, led by Christian Mancier, provided clear, transparent and insightful analysis throughout and ultimately provided myself and Anna with the tools we needed to get over the line.”
