Helipad included in plan for Liverpool’s Pall Mall

FRESH plans have been submitted for a major Liverpool development site including 366 apartments and a helipad.

A company called Industrial Workshop (Pall Mall), controlled by 24-year-old Joshua McInnes is behind the proposal for 70-90 Pall Mall

A 33% stake is held by Blok Develop which is owned by Lee Spencer and Antonio Garcia of Blok Architecture.

The plans also include a 515-space multi-storey car park but no other details have yet been filed at the council’s planning portal.

The three-acre Pall Mall site, close to the city centre, was put on the market with a £2m price tag last year. In 2009 outline permission was granted for a 200-bed hotel, a multi-storey car park, retail and around 240,000 sq ft of offices, and this was extended in February 2013 on the application of Liverpool architect A2 Architects.

At the time the land, occupied by industrial and office buildings, was in the hands of Law of Property Act (LPA) receivers at chartered surveyor Eddisons who did not disclose the identity of the vendor.
