ARGENT partner James Heather and senior projects director Angela Fielding have announced that they will both be leaving the company early in the New Year to pursue new opportunities.

Heather has been involved with the developer for 20 years, having worked with the team for five years on schemes such as Brindleyplace in Birmingham and Forbury Square in Reading, before joining the company in 1999.

Fielding has worked for the company since 2000, and has been involved in delivering One Piccadilly Gardens, Piccadilly Place, The Hive and, more recently, One St Peter’s Square.

Heather said: “The completion of One St. Peter’s Square seemed like the natural time to bring my time at Argent to a close. With two major tenants secured, I felt it was the right moment to look for a new challenge and pursue opportunities away from Argent. I have enjoyed fantastic opportunities while working for Argent and am very proud of the schemes I have been involved with and thankful for the opportunity to have worked with such a talented and dedicated team.”

Fielding said: ‘To have been involved in successful delivery of over one million sq ft in Manchester for Argent is a huge privilege, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of Manchester’s most important influencers and ambassadors. I’m confident that the time is now right to move onto a new challenge and I’m extremely excited to be providing strategic marketing consultancy for other property developers.”
