Praetura lends £20m in first year

BLACKBURN-based Praetura Asset Finance said it has issued loans worth £20m in its first year.

The firm said it had experience strong demand from the construction, manufacturing and print sectors.

Praetura lends against the value of assets such as plant, equipment and vehicles.

Managing director Mike Hartley said: “Businesses are keen to capitalise on the surge in opportunities that they are now experiencing. However, some may lack the capital they need to invest in their business in order to expand and compete in a fast paced marketplace.

“The flexible asset finance we offer means that our clients can release capital tied up in their business, accessing the money they need to make the most of market conditions on a time critical basis and with fixed, affordable repayments.”
