VUE doubles its space in Salford move

CCTV and telematics firm Vision Unique Equipment (VUE) is moving to new premises in Salford to allow for future expansion.

The firm is swapping its 5,000 sq ft base at Ashburton Park in Trafford Park for an 11,500 sq ft unit at Metroplex Business Park, near MediaCityUK on a 10-year lease.

The firm joins existing tenants Sodexo, beauty trade supplier Aston and Fincher, and Edmundson Electrical, at the park which is managed by AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.

VUE’s managing director Greg Mullins said: “We’re at an exciting stage of development for the business and have outgrown our existing offices in Trafford Park. Taking these new premises in Salford Quays is part of our expansion strategy for the next five years to become the leading supplier of in vehicle CCTV and telematics solutions to the commercial motor industry.

“The new offices will create more space for our growing workforce and house our brand new manufacturing and R&D units. Salford Quays is an ideal location with strong links to the UK transport network.”

The letting was handled by commercial agent JLL. Associate director Richard Johnson said: “Metroplex Business Park continues to attract attention owing to its good quality refurbished space and great location.”
