Property briefs: Eddisons; ITV; Winterhill Largo

EDDISONS sold 20 lots at its final North West property auction of 2014, generating £3.6m.

Highlights of the December sale at the Premier Inn, Trafford Park included a part-complete commercial development in the Cheetham Hill, Manchester.

The 10,000 sq ft property on Robert Street sold for £260,000 off a guide price of £200,000.

Elsewhere, a tenanted commercial investment in Sandbach producing annual rent of £8,600 sold for £97,000.

Meanwhile, the Wellington Buildings in Liverpool sold prior to the sale within the guide price range of £1.5m-£2m.

MANCHESTER asset valuation and recovery group Winterhill has moved to a new office in London.

Headed by director Andrew Dunbar, it has relocated from its base in Mayfair to a larger office in Hanover Square in the West End.

The five-strong team works with banks, asset based lenders, private equity houses and corporate recovery professionals.

Mr Dunbar said: “Despite a challenging market, we are experiencing a continued and increasing demand for our services in London and the South. A base here is very important as we continue to grow the business and the Winterhill brand.”

BAMBER Bridge-based Roundhouse Properties has secured ITV’s pensions department as a new tenant at its Fulwood Park development.

ITV is moving from its Preston city centre to Roundhouse’s Fulwood Park office where it has taken 2,545 sq ft on a 10-year lease.

ITV’s group surveyor Matthew Parish said: “The new base at Fulwood Park will provide us with high quality offices in keeping with the company’s desire to provide all its staff with a great working environment.”

Harold Lefton, director of Roundhouse Properties, said: “We are very delighted to welcome blue-chip businesses such as ITV as new tenants and look forward to working with them in the coming years. In addition we’re very pleased that we now only have 732 Sq. Ft. of office space available across our property portfolio.”
