Appointments: Bentley Motors; Zerum; Pannone Corporate & more

BENTLEY Motors has announced the promotion of Andrew Roberts to director of communications.

Effective January 5 2015, he will succeed Wolfgang Glabus, who will take up the position as head of industrial and environmental Policy at parent company Volkswagen Group based in Berlin.

Roberts will report directly to Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman & CEO of Bentley Motors.

 Mr Dürheimer said: “Bentley is entering a key period of product launch and I am very confident Andrew will lead our communications team with the necessary experience and drive to deliver our goals.

“I would also like to thank Wolfgang Glabus for his contribution over the last couple of years which have brought record results for Bentley Motors and wish him continued success in his new role.”

Roberts (44), joined Bentley as head of brand communications from Mercedes-Benz (UK) Limited in 2012, where he held the position of communications director. Before this, he held a number of senior communications roles at Land Rover spanning nine years.  He lives with his family in Cheshire.

PANNONE Corporate has recruited Hannah Aziz to its litigation and dispute resolution team.

Aziz, who joins the team as a solicitor, was previously at Yorkshire firm, Wilkin Chapman.

GARY Neville’s property consultancy Zerum is expanding its team across all divisions.

Brendan Caloe has joined the project management team as construction director along with Harry Courtney Smith, a graduate project manager.

Caloe has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and has held senior executive positions with Signature Developments, Hurstwood Construction and Eric Wright Group.

He joins the company to develop its construction consultancy offering through his detailed knowledge and understanding of construction and development processes.

Nicholas Street has recently joined as an electrical engineer and the planning division is currently looking to recruit both a senior and a graduate planner.

Managing director Anthony Kilbride said: “Brendan is a fantastic addition to the team and provides hands-on construction experience to match our hands-on property experience giving further differentiation of the Zerum offer.

RESIDENTIAL property management company urbanbubble has added two new members to its finance team. 

Tom Hartley has joined as management accountant and Leanne Taylor has taken on the service charge accountant role.

Taylor spent four years with Braemar Estates and previously worked for Bruntwood. She will be working specifically on the service charge accounting for the residential buildings urbanbubble manages.

Hartley has previously worked in SME and large businesses and in the newly created role he will be involved with reporting, budgeting and planning.

Nicky McCann, finance manager at urbanbubble, said: “Having Tom and Leanne join us will add strength and experience to our great team. Tom’s level of knowledge in management accounting will be a huge asset to urbanbubble’s growth and direction whereas Leanne’s experience in service charge accounting will bring welcomed support in the property finances, reporting and controls. The finance team are really excited about our new additions.”

Urbanbubble was set up in 2008 by Michael Howard and now employs 49 people.
