Conlon hands over Danbro HQ

CONLON Construction has handed over the first phase of the multi-million pound Jubilee House project in Lytham for accountancy and payroll specialist, Danbro.

Danbro, which provides accountancy services to around 6,000 freelancers and consultants throughout the UK, bought the former Land Registry building in 2012.

Oldham-based Conlon started the project in November 2013, modernising the exterior and adding an extra floor. The redeveloped building will have 60,000 sq ft of office space and 20 high-end apartments.

Phil Ashall, contracts manager at Conlon Construction, said: “This is a landmark scheme, not only due to its nature, but also its prominent location. Whilst the project was not without its challenges, as is always expected with this type of renovation work, we are on track to hand over the remainder of the building in the spring.”

Danbro’s managing director, Damian Broughton, said: “We are delighted with the development and judging by the response from the local community they are too.”
