Barristers move to Blackfriars House

GARDEN Court North Chambers has taken space at Bruntwood’s Blackfriars House in Manchester.
The human rights barristers have moved from Oxford Court where they have been based for over 10 years.
The 3,500 sq ft deal means that the building is now fully let.
Sarah Wright, senior clerk for Garden Court North Chambers, said: “The move is a significant moment for Garden Court North and part of our planned development to substantially modernise and upgrade our level of service and facilities.
“Blackfriars House has a custom-built layout with fantastic conference and meeting facilities that will enable us to improve our services to our professional and lay clients, and which means we can continue to attract outstanding barristers.”
Brad Topps, head of sales at Bruntwood, said: “We are delighted to welcome Garden Court North Chambers to Blackfriars; we built a great relationship with them throughout the process and have managed to provide a pain-free move from their previous accommodation.
“They provide further diversity to what is an incredible, exciting customer mix in the building and represent the final piece of the jigsaw with the building now being at full occupancy.”
Blackfriars House is in Blackfriars Street.
