£20m funding deal fuels Eric Wright growth

ERIC Wright Group has completed a £20m funding package to help drive forward a number of new developments.
The Preston-based construction and development group has agreed a deal with Royal Bank of Scotland’s real estate business.
Recent project have included a new five-storey office building with a full Category A fit out at One Hardman Street in Manchester’s Spinningfields and the £100m Stoke Extra Care retirement village PFI project, the largest scheme of its kind to be developed in Stoke-on-Trent.
Eric Wright offers a range of services from construction and civil engineering to property development and facilities management.
Chief executive Jeremy Hartley said RBS had a “deep understanding of the company’s strategy” , which facilitated a flexible and practical funding structure.
“This will allow us to further grow our business and support local communities,” he said.
Head of RBS Real Estate Karen Johnson added: “Our commitment to real estate in the UK remains strong and we will continue to back good people in what is currently a fast moving market.”
