Double contract boost for Preferred

PREFERRED Spaces, the south Manchester interior design and fit out company, is celebrating winning contracts worth more than £3m.

The Sale-based firm has scooped work for Peel Media at MediaCity and for US investor Greystar, which owns student accommodation blocks nationwide.

For Peel, Preferred has will fit out five floors of category A and B office space, including mechanical & electrical, joinery, ceiling treatments, bespoke kitchens, partitions and joinery at the Blue Tower.  he project started this month is scheduled for completion at the end of April.
 
Further afield, the company has won further work for Greystar – for whom it has already carried out several projects in Manchester – and will refurb three student halls in London.

The projects are Woodlands House, a 4,300sq ft site in Islington; Wedgwood House, Highbury and Great Suffolk Street, Southwark.

All are being fitted with bespoke furniture packages and loose furniture plus state of the art cinema,  AV and gaming.

Work started in mid-January and will be complete by the end of February. The combined value of the projects is £3.2m.
