Appointments: Sutton Kersh; Key Retirement & more

MERSEYSIDE auctioneer Sutton Kersh has appointed Tony Webber and Cathy Holt as new joint head of auctions.

Webber joins Sutton Kersh from Eddisons where he worked for nearly 20 years, overseeing 20 public auctions per year in Manchester, Leeds and London.

He will work alongside Holt who is promoted internally from auction manageress.

She has 25 years auction industry experience, seven of which have been at Sutton Kersh, during which time the firm has established itself as the most successful auctioneer in the area.

SOUTH Ribble Council in Lancashire has two new recruits to help economic growth in the area.

Keith Molloy and Kate Henderson have joined the council as enterprise manager and strategic housing manager, respectively.

Molloy, 54, from Chorley, formerly worked for Wigan Council as an economic development specialist.

Henderson, 32, who lives on Merseyside has come to South Ribble from a community involvement role with Progress Housing Group.

NORTHWICH-based PMI Health Group has appointed two senior healthcare consultants to help expand the company’s client base.

Theresa Mitchell and Chris Farley have arrived at the group as part of its ongoing strategic growth plan.

Mitchell brings 24 years’ experience to the role having previously worked at Pru Health as well as holding senior positions at Towry and Bupa  and Farley is a former key intermediary sales manager at Bupa.

MANCHESTER-based low carbon engineering consultancy BCM has taken on four new staff members to boost its current headcount to 21 with two more vacancies to be advertised in the near future.

BCM specialises in designing the inner working of buildings to ensure they are sustainable and energy efficient.

It recently welcomed graduate engineers Flora Ambit and Jacob Barber while Martin Jorgenson takes on the role of technician. Jackson Woods completes the quartet, recruited as a marketing strategy manager.

These new positions are in addition to two new executive roles recently created in which BCM welcomed Alex Pitman as commercial director and promoted Rich Hart to operations director.

OVER-55s financial specialist KR Group is strengthening its senior management team to spearhead further strategic expansion with the appointment of Michael Schaefer as chief operating officer.

According to the Preston-based firm, which trades as Key Retirement, Shaefer brings a wide range of experience and expertise in leading transformation programmes in IT and operational roles across a range of financial services businesses in the UK and internationally.

Previously he was consultant to the chief executive of insurance and lending software provider Risk Free and at insurer RGA Underwriting.
