PEEL Land and Property Group has appointed Neil Baumber as its residential development director.

PEEL Land and Property Group has appointed Neil Baumber as its residential development director.

Baumber, who has 25 years” experience in the housing sector, will work within Peel’s development team, specialising in regeneration, innovation and new product deliver.

He was most recently managing director of Steel Gree Ltd, a private development company and director of Concept Regeneration Ltd.

Baumber’s role at Peel will be to take the lead on shaping a new residential delivery strategy, as well as nurturing and creating partnerships with the public, private and institutional sectors.

“I am passionate about creating residential partnerships to deliver fantastic development and regeneration projects, which become real destinations of choice for new residents,” he said.

SWISS private bank Julius Baer has expanded its coverage in the North West by swooping for Alan Edwards from Barclays Wealth.

Edwards has joined Julius Baer’s London office as a senior relationship manager with the rank of managing director senior adviser and will focus on developing the bank’s business in the North West.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in relationship management and advised high and ulti-high net worth individuals, family offices and foundations.

He was regional centre head for Manchester and Liverpool and previously also led the Leeds office at Barclays Wealth, overseeing teams of bankers in all three locations.

WIRRAL-based digital agency Webtise has appointed Phil MacKechnie as its digital director and new board member.

MacKechnie is the former head of organic performance at MoneySuperMarket, Europe’s largest price comparison website.

He has been tasked to bolster the management team and help deliver on the company’s growth aspirations. He will be working with existing clients, such as LittleBlackDress.co.uk, Utility and Winfield’s Outdoors as well as helping to drive new business and expanding the existingWentise digital marketing offering.

INNOVA  Design Solutions has started the new year with three new appointments as  it looks to boost turnover during 2015.

Stockport-based education and commercial interior specialist Innova has introduced Javed Blythe as sales manager for the Midlands and the South East.

Blythe joins from Klick technology after starting his career with an education furniture specialist.

Sales Manager for the Western region is Rob Stone who has arrived at Innova from Demco Interiors, having previously worked for competitors S+B.

Senior designer Amy Jerrison brings with her extensive knowledge in the field of furniture and retail display design from her previous roles at Sure Design and Retail and Neville Johnson.

Innova director Melanie Laing said: “Javed and Rob’s experience and contacts will expand our sales operations and increase our presence countrywide, whilst Amy’s knowledge of commercial and product design will enhance our design team as we continue to grow and develop as a business.”

Innova, which designs, manufactures and installs furniture and interiors across the education, commercial and health sectors has doubled its number of employees over the last two years and made significant investment in its Stockport based office and manufacturing facilities as the company continues to grow.

LAW firm Linder Myers has recruited John Flint as partner in its commercial litigation team based in Manchester.

He joins the firm from Leeds-based Ford and Warren, adding significant commercial expertise and experience in dealing with complex, high value commercial claims, including boardroom disputes, professional adviser claims, reputational damage and business restructuring and insolvency.
