GVA brokers deal for Oxford Court

A COMMERCIAL property agent based in Manchester has secured a new tenant for the period building at 8 Oxford Street in the city for a law firm.

GVA Manchester has negotiated a two-year lease for the 1,200 sq ft office space on the second floor of the building to data cleansng company Marketing Lists on behalf of Freeman & Co solicitors. The rental has been agreed at £14 per sq ft.

The property in Manchester city centre is at the heart of its ‘Knowledge Corridor’ and is owned by Freeman & Co which occupies the lower ground and ground floor.

Managing director at Marketing Lists, Paul Chung, said: “Our location in the city centre is very important and our new office is just what we need at this time.

“The new space will allow us to deliver a more accessible service to our clients.”
Associate at GVA, David Thwaites, said: “The letting to Market Lists was achieved within a frew months of the suite becoming available and is testament to the ongoing popularity of Oxford Court as an office location.

“With the remaining 900 sq ft available on the first floor, we are confident of achieving a fully let building in the next few months.”
