Lettings latest: Ultrasound firm heads to Parkway & more

ULTRASOUND imaging specialist Harmonic Medical Sonography has taken a five-year least on a business centre in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

It has rented 1,800 sq ft of space at Parkway Business Centre, owned and managed by South Manchester landlord Orbit Developments.

Harmonic Medical Sonography offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic medical sonography services to patients referred through the NHS as well as private patients.

Managing and clinical director Kumbulani Zhou, said: “The decision to locate our medical sonography practice at Parkway Business Centre was influenced by its strategic location and ease of access for our patients was critical.

“Parkway is located on Princess Road, one of Manchester’s main arterial routes. The business centre is easily reached from all areas of Greater Manchester, across the region and beyond.”

JOINT agents JLL and Canning O’Neill have let the second floor of Manchester city centre’s Fountain House on behalf of British Steel Pension Fund (BSPF).

Engineering firm Laing O’Rourke has agreed a lease for the second floor, occupying 2,162 sq ft at the six-storey office building on Fountain Street which is to be used as an administrative office during the redevelopment programme for 2 St Peters Square.

The 12,700 sq ft refurbished building includes basement car parking and is home to businesses including chartered accountants Corinthian Tax and insolvency practitioners Unity Corporation.

Richard Wharton, office agency director at JLL, said: “Fountain House is comprised of a range of different sized units all refurbished to a high standard, giving the scheme broad appeal with different occupiers seeking city centre space.
