Citation signs 10-year deal for Kings Court

HEALTH and safety and HR services provider Citation has agreed a 10-year deal with Orbit Developments to take a 18,266 sq ft space at Kings Court in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Citation, which has been in operation for 20 years, will move from its base at Citation House in the town following a period of growth in which it acquired Bibby Consulting and Support in 2013.

The identified the ground floor of Kings Court as its target while it was looking for new office space in Wilmslow which would provide a more efficient working environment.

Following the end of a 25-year lease with Astra Zeneca in December 2014, Orbit embarked on a significant refurbishment programme of the 35,865 sq ft Kings Court building which offers some of South Manchester’s largest floor plates.

The entire building has been re-modelled with new air conditioning, lifts and toilets alongside a new reception and upgrades to the core areas. Kings Court is due for completion in March with Citation scheduled to move to their new premises in August of this year.

Chief executive of Citatation Chris Morris said: Citation Ltd is looking forward to moving to Kings Court in August following a period of growth.
