Vickers goes Dutch to help save energy

VICKERS Energy Group is helping to reduce industrial energy consumption in the Netherlands thanks to a new partnership with a company based in Rotterdam.

Trafford Park, Manchester-based Vickers has struck a deal with Sprinx International, an international energy savings company.

The two companies work with clients to install energy management systems which reduce gas consumption of industrial heaters.

The partnership has seen success in the Netherlands with clients, including Ricoh, Saint-Gobain and Technische Unie saving around €50.000 over 12 months.

The success of the work has seen Vickers and Sprinx also expand into Belgium and Germany. The first installations have taken place for Hamann Logistics and Ceva Logistics.

David Hilton, from Vickers Energy Group UK, said: “The work with Sprinx International is generating real results for clients.

“Our energy management system delivers what is says it will – reduced energy consumption and bills without compromising on the needs of the business.

“Sprinx International works hand in hand with its customers to ensure it delivers over and above what is guaranteed at the start of the relationship.

“We are also looking to further expand across northern and eastern Europe in the next 12 months.”
