Influential will work alongside Marketing Liverpool and Culture Liverpool to promote the festival. The agency’s primary role will be to drive national media interest in the event, while its digital, social and marketing teams will also provide support and boost public engagement.
Claire McColgan, the city’s director of culture, said: “This is a really exciting time for Liverpool, we’ve got a cultural offer unsurpassed by any other city in the UK and a well-deserved reputation for delivering public events which really capture people’s imagination on an international scale.
“We’re looking forward to building on this over the summer and delivering a fantastic programme of events during One Magnificent City.”
