CBRE management instructions soaring

CBRE has secured instructions to manage more than 475,000 sq ft of commercial space since the start of the year as investment activity in the North West property sector continues to soar.

Recent deals for the company’s North West Services team include the 178,508 sq ft at 3 Hardman Square in Manchester’s Spinningfields, along with Meridian Court, a 110,000 sq ft site in Bolton owned by United Utilities Property Services.

Other properties include the 17,000 sq ft Essex House scheme in Bootle, Liverpool, the 28,000 sq ft muli-occupancy industrial estate at Globe Square in Dukinfield and, at Skelmersdale, 1 Potter Place and Allied Business Centre, a 140,000 sq ft mixed use office and industrial site comprising 35,000 sq ft of small suite offices.

CBRE’s North West Asset Services team has 30 staff operating from offices in Manchester and Liverpool. The team credits the new instructions to continued investor confidence which is a positive marker for the regional property sector.

Associate director of the team Sophie Weinmann said: “The increase of these significant regional schemes is indicative of the increasing buoyancy within the North West property sector.”
