Deals round up: UHY Hacker Young; HRC Law & more

MANCHESTER accountants and lawyers have acted on the sale of a Welsh luxury car dealership to an acquisitive group based in Sussex.
UHY Hacker Young and HRC Law advised the vendors of Maserati, Cardiff, on the sale of the business to Motorline.
The Maserati business has been acquired from Arrow Automotive Limited for an undisclosed sum and will be the second Maserati dealership in the Motorline Group.
David Kendrick, partner at UHY Hacker Young, said: “This is a great acquisition for Motorline and fits well with their other representation points in the area. We are seeing more transactional activity than ever with some strong values being attributed to motor retail businesses. This deal again highlights the consolidation that continues to take place in the sector.”

A TEAM from Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester advised PZ Cussons on its £21m acquisition of joint venture partner Glanbia’s 50% stake in Nutricima, a milk supply business in Nigeria.
Led by partner Paul Medlicott, the Addleshaws team comprised Tina Wong, Joanne Cooper, Michael Rainey, William Ngan and Justine Delroy.

THE Manchester office of national law firm TLT advised Amicus Building Products on its acquisition of North East based building products company Nu*Stock.
All 30 employees from across Nu*Stock Limited’s six depots as well as online staff will remain employed by Amicus.
The TLT team was led by corporate partner Jon Close and included Nicola Bilner and Luke Philpott from the corporate team as well as Natalie Stoter (tax) and Nicola Balmer from the banking and restructuring team.
